Remember though that you should take you water sample away from any return jets and keep your bottle upside down, then turn it rightside up when you are approximately 18" below the surface. Just holding the bottle upright when putting it into the water will mostly take the surface water to be tested, which will not be a good representation of a water sample.
Sample bottles on a pole, whether it be held on by velcro, long reach arms, or other methods, if not held upside down is not doing much good and you might as well skim surface water and test. It is not a good representative of your pool water.
