Used pool with DE filter

never worked with it b4 and have no idea what I'm doing. All I've ever had b4 we the little above ground pools with paper filters.

I also have no operations manual.

So, at the risk of sounding like a moron, i have to ask: Where do I begin? All I know is it's a proline DE filter made for Namco by Jacuzzi.
