Anybody know anything about this product? I went to Leslie's looking for some DE to add to my sand filter (to help with stain removal), and the girl said they corporately stopped selling DE and she recommended this stuff.

It is a cellulose DE substitute. It does not have the health risks associated with inhaling DE powder but I don't know anything about it's filtering abiblity. I do know that it is usable with a cartridge filter or sand filter to improve filter performance. (DE can be used in a sand filter but will ruin a cartridge).
