We bought the house with a pool that I'm guessing is over 10 years old. So it doesn't have much in the way of 'water features'. But while trying to aereate the water I decided to build my own 'fountain'. I tried a straight pipe design, but the one with a valve gives a little more control. Because of the location (see pic below) I had to cut down (done poorly) the last PVC fitting so I can screw the whole thing into the wall, and I also cut down the conversion fitting so the whole thing would be closer to the wall. Then warned the kids not to pull on it.![]()

Seems to work better up out of the water surface.
