    Cool CYA reading w/new kit

Maybe a stupid quetion but here it goes. When testing CYA I know that you stop when the dot just disapears. The question is do you wait a second after the drop and let it "settle"? Because if I let it settle then I can see the dot again then add another drop. Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks in advance.

I wiggle the tube, add a drop, keep going till I cannot see it. I do it this way EVERYTIME so that movement between readings appears. It's more important to ALWAYS do it the same way than anything else.

If you aren't sure, just pour the solution back into the squeeze bottle and do it again and again until you are sure.

Thank you Carl. I tried that and it seemed to work in my favor. I quess what I am doing is trying to get the lowest CYA value possible. I am really in denial of how much stabilizer I have in the pool since I already dumped a 3rd of the water already this season.
