Default Can't get Rainbow feeder to dissolve tabs

I bought a Rainbow feeder (from Poolsolutions).

My Rainbow feeder fills and empty easily with lid off (presumably behaves likewise under pressure).

Problem is that it won't dissolve 1"tabs (product dissolve quickly in skimmer basket).

    What's the troubleshooting scheme ?
    ---thanks, Chow

Have the same problem, but may be for different reasons. Is your chlorine level staying up? Mine wouldn't. Don't know your setup but mine is a inground pool with all the equipment above the water level. Plus I have a intake leak going to pump (air in system). All the air is collecting in the chlorinator. I didn't have any check valves in the system either causing the system to back drain when it shut off.
Anyway..... I opened the chlorinator lid while it was running and found it was full of air. If I bleed off the air the chlorine tabs would dissolve eventually.

Just one of the joys of old pool equipment...and the wrong equipment to start out with.

May not your problem but somewhere to start...........
