    Default Tile installation question

Actually I have two questions. I am getting ready to install some tile in a fiberglass pool that I have recently installed. I was thinking about doing waterline tile as well as smaller tile along the front edge of each of the steps. My questions are:

    A. Can I use any tile? IE. Any basic ceramic tile that I find?

    B. Any recommendations on what one would use to fasten the tile to fiberglass and then grout it? I had seen one at a pool store and it appeared that they had used HD marine caulking to do the attachment as well as the grouting.

    Thanks,

    Keith

Perhaps they used caulk but the correct way is with epoxy thinset and grout. It is not a job for the faint-hearted....approach it after you've done your homework and are comfortable with the project.
