We are installing a 15X30 with spa & beach shelf- so the swimming area is closer to 15X25. My father in law just finished one about the same size and it was plenty large for two adults and two kids jumping in and out.
Hey guys! Newbie here. Love your forum. I have probably read every post. We are in the planning process of putting in a Viking 10x20 fiberglass pool. We have an easement problem that limits us to that size. Do any of you have a pool that small or heard stories from someone who might? My wife thinks it will be fine. I'm not seeing the bang for the buck. All opinions are welcome.

In above grounds, lots of folks have smaller pools--like my first one which was a 15' round inflatable.

Small pool here. About 11 X 21 X 3.5 deep I think. Great for floating and entertaining the grandkids. No one here needs to dive in or anything like that. Great pool for us !!
After pricing the fiberglass pools, I went with a 12x24 vinyl IG pool. I had issues with fitting it between the septic leach field and my easement. So I had to go small also. It is 3ft to 6ft in the deep end. It is a little small, but when it's 90+ degrees outside, 12x24 cools just fine.
We had an a 11 * 24 fiberglass, 4.5' deep and it was nice for jumping in and cooling off. Kids complained because they'd bottom out doing cannon balls but other than that everyone loved it.
