Looks like it would work. It also looks like it would take a 3/8 " socket drive (but I wouldn't submerge my socket drive, though if the pool were partially drained for winterizing, it'd be really cool) The one I've always used is Hayward's SP 1419-T. Good luck with the airation!![]()

Having done construction and service for 4 pool companies in 4 states starting in 1988, what I know about pools could fill a couple of books - what I don't know could fill libraries
I made one from a piece of aluminum plate with a thickness a little less than the notch width. Slip it in the notches and turn. Just a simple plate of the right width and thickness.

Got the pool store to order a Hayward, they were surprised there even -was- a tool for this.![]()
I might also use the Polaris port and its booster pump to run a venturi next time. The previous owner left some parts, one of which is an extra Polaris quick-connector. Piece of tubing from the quick-connector to the venturi and it should make a good cloud of bubbles.
