Default Re: Problem with Poolpilot installation

I actually haven't had time to address it yet (busy at work)- but the leak was down to a slow drip for a few days after I cranked down on the screw-on fittings really hard. Now it seems to have stopped for the most part. I may take a look at it again this weekend.

My filter pressure is normally about 5 lbs, until I put my Polaris in and the pressure required to run the Polaris off the outlet bumps it up to about 15 lbs. Amazingly, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference in the amount of leaking whether or not the cleaner is hooked up.

I think what happened is the silicone lube I used to help stop the leaking got pushed into the leak by the pressure and helped to seal it. I am "salting up" now and bringing it online.
