    Default Problem with Poolpilot installation

Hi everyone (and hopefully Poolpilot Sean if he is out there):

I have a new Poolpilot that I just installed and am in the process of starting up. After plumbing the cell manifold into my system I notice the thing is leaking in the LAST place I would expect it to leak- around both sides of the cell through the screw-on connections provided with the Poolpilot. No matter how hard I twist these gasketed connectors down the cell still wants to leak. I even bought some silicone pool/spa grease to help seal the o-rings, which helps but not enough. Finally I got the bottom connector to stop leaking but it took Herculean strengh to tighten the connector to that point- aren't these things supposed to seal without a ton of effort? Sean, I need your help!

The check valve in the bottom of the manifold seems to be working, I can see flow thru it so I don't think the cell is getting too much pressure. Also, the manifold is plumbed in in the right direction, and mounted vertically with the flow going up past the sensor and down thru the cell. I really worry about how much this will leak when I hook up my Polaris pressure-side cleaner, that puts lots of extra pressure on the system since it requires the pump pressure to run it around the pool.

Any suggestions, anyone? It's hard to run my pump and filter all day long with water dribbling out thru the Poolpilot connections.
