Try crushing a couple of vitamin C tablets and put them in a sock, or some ph down, and rub it on the stain. If the stain doesn't come off then it is organic and will come off over time with chlorine.
Hi - Just wondering if anyone has experienced finding "trailers" in their pool after a neighbor's fireworks display. I brushed it up and removed the ash/black pellets to find the plaster underneath was stained brown. Will this fade with chlorine exposure or do I need to treat it? Thanks.

I had this happen a few years ago. The black stain eventually faded away.
