Default Hydroquest - does it work to remove scale deposits

My hydrazzo finished pool is 3 years old and when we opened it the surface of the pool floor has rough spots on it like 60 grit sand paper. I was told that adding Hydroquest 100 would dissolve the calcium deposits (scale) and resore the smooth finish we once had. Does anyone have experience with this? We have brushed with a stainless steel brush after adding a blue chemical (Jack's something or other) with no affect.

    Our chemicals are:

    TA 80
    hardness 120
    ph 7.0

    KiethS,

I have a similar problem (see thread http://www.poolforum.com/pf2/showthread.php?t=6993). Have you had any luck solving your issue? Did you try the Hydroquest 100?

    Pat.
