Default Check out my PS234s first week results

Received my kit after exactly 2 months.
    Have tested twice:
    7/3

    FC 1
    CC 0
    TC 1
    pH 7.6
    Alk 100
    Cal 420
    CYA 60
    salt 4200

25x44 IG vinyl liner (DIY), 40,000+ gallons, SWG, sand filter, Polaris 380
According to what I have read here, most of these numbers seem to be where they need to be. Any suggestions?? Pool is clear although I am having to clean the skimmers (skimmer socks) twice a day due to grasshoppers and now swarming fire ants.

Other than the Ca being a bit high, they look pretty good. Be careful not to let your alk get too high, otherwise you might start to see calcium precipitating out, causing some cloudy water. Not sure about the chlorine level being that low with the SWG--for a CYA of 60 without the SWG, the Cl is way too low, but I understand that you can run it lower with the SWG--hopefully someone with more experience with one will chime in.

We don't have the grasshopper problem (yet, anyway!) but the ants are awful!!

Thanks Janet. I don't wish grasshoppers on anyone.

I lowered my alk in May by lowering pH and running the spill over spa nonstop. Brought it down to 100 from 150.
We just finished a flash flood and the pool is within a hair of the coping so I am sure all of my numbers have changed.
I am going to pump some water out and add bleach. Aerobic septic system alarm is going off. Why can't things be easy??

At least it blew away or washed away all of the ants. (for a little while at least)
