If the shock was cal-hypo, and your Ca was already high, chances are good that the cloudiness is precipitated calcium. However, if you've just killed off an algae bloom and the shock wasn't cal-hypo, then it very well could just be dead algae that needs to be filtered out. Adding to the problem is the floc that you put in, which also tends to cloud things up. If you can give us numbers for CYA and Ca (pool store can test for you) and ingredients on the shock you used, it would help us figure out the problem.
