Received the PS234 new kit - I think I had finally gotten things under control but its nice to get confirmation using this kit.

FC = 8
CC = 0
TC = 8
pH = 7.2
Alk - 80
Cal = 240
Cya = 50
Temp = 80F

pH needs a little bump and the Cya is a little higher than ideal.

Where can I find info on the 'ideal' ranges for these readings and how tyo adjust them if needed - the kit did not include that info?

Also how do I register my Serial number (#6440) to upgrade my membership from 'registered' to 'kit owner'? - is this thread sufficient?

I'm not at home right now, but I made a spreadsheet up that had my "ideal" range numbers on it. I got them by cruising through the poolsolutions.com site and picking the numbers off the various places on there. Your "ideal" numbers may vary a little depending on what type of pool you have.

As for registering your kit and getting your membership upgraded...you need to send Ben a private message or an e-mail.

FWIW, I've sent 3 or 4 Private Messages to Ben and received no response. 2006 is more than half over.
