I see it calculates in Imperial gallons. Is it really or is it US gallons?

I only see 2 choices-metric and imperial. I don't see US gallons.
Imperial gallon is 4.54609 L (exactly). That is approximately 1.201 US gallons.

The Raddish is correct-that why I questioned it. I live on the Canadian border and in Canada they use the Imperial gallon. I travel there frequently so I knew of the difference.
Everyone has had such great success using the calculator as is can I assume US gallons were implied?
From a post by Michael Smith on 6-12-06;Ah. Well, that's more of a slipup on my part. I should have labled it US measurements...all of the gallons are US gallons.
The answer is that it is US gallons. You can tell from the "Pool Volume" calculation.Originally Posted by poolbee
