Liner/Pool dimensions

They're filling our new 20 x 34 Kafko Tahiti pool today. It looks great, but the liner invoice and box says the liner is a 16 x 32 "custom" liner (Pebletite). Since it's a free form pool we have never been certain how the dimensions are determined, i.e. what makes it 20 x 34? Also, why would the liner only be 16 x 32. It's been over 7 weeks since the they first dug the hole and the builder said it was taking so long because he had to order a different liner.

Kafko pool dimensions are based upon the longest length and the widest width of the pool. Your deep end should be 20' wide and the total length should be 34'.

Thanks. We measured the widest part of the pool and it's exactly 16'. We're supposed to have a 20 x 34 Kafko Tahiti. It's actually a 16 x 34 "custom". Do you have any suggestions on how we should discuss this with the builder?

Does Kafko provide a specifications page with their pool kits, i.e. a layout page of the pool that has specific measurements? Is this what vinyl liner pool installers use when they lay out the pool?
