    Default Empty pool

    Hello everyone.....

My sand filter cracked..don't know how, and I can't seem to get a call back from any pool people. How long can my pool stay empty without causing serious damage. I live inArizona and its in the 100's everyday! Help! Any ideas?

    most likely in ground....
Your soil is so dry that you do not have a high risk of the pool popping out of the ground. You're good for a while but watch out for heavy rainfall or a high water table.
Even with a cracked filter, how did your pool empty out? Your skimmer should have ran the pump dry and lost prime. In either case, you should start adding water back in anyway.

    Ditto...

You really would need some kind of leak or have left the Multiport on Back wash / Waste by accident in order for the pool to drain completely. Although I've never drained a pool, that is my best guess on what it would take to do it, but it wouldn't be because of a filter issues...unless the multivalve had a leak.
