    Cool can someone give me step by step to change from soft swim to chlorine, please

    I couldn't find this readily in the archives. We just bought a house with above ground pool. They used SoftSwim products. It has a sand filter. The pool is filled to the top and is green. Can I get a step by step instructions for my husband, please.

    You need to get a drops-based test kit preferably with an FAS-DPD test for chlorine so that you can measure the FC accurately and you want to find a post from mwsmith2 so that you can download his bleach calc program to be able to calculate how much bleach you will need to add to your size pool to get the FC up to 15 ppm. Then you add bleach to your pool. The more often you can test and add bleach to stay in the 15 ppm range, the faster your conversion will go. Look at the following thread to see what to expect:
