Rangeball, the coping should be one piece. Getting the liner back into it is simply a question of getting enough stretch to lift the bead up enough to slip it into the coping receiver. If the water is high or the liner cold you may need to pour hot water (out of the tap is usually hot enough) on it to give it the 'stretch' it needs. To go in the bead needs to be parralell to the slot (well, just a bit above), then it will slide right in and lock in place.
