Default How to use/How many pucks

    Novice pool user -
I have a 20,000 Litre pool Aqua Leisure inflatable 18 wide 4 high, trying to use chlorine pucks in water -
I have had one puck in a floating device for 3 days and it hasn't seemed to dissolve much. I have the device set to four holes.
Is there something that I need to do to activate the pucks ?
When I check the water it states there is no chlorine?

Last year I had a slightly smaller pool and could never get the correct chemical balance of chlorine. Had regular levels of green algae in and had to shock a couple of times a week.

    Hi londoncan,

The pucks are slow release better suited to maintanence. A litre bottle of bleach will put 3 ppm into your pool quickly.

The good news of using the pucks is that they will slowly put stabilizer in your pool which is needed to keep the chlorine from burning off quickly.

Read the sticky posts here , the info applies to an inflatable as well as any other pool
