Sorry for the cheezy title...just trying to see if anyone would possibly know about what date/s the Jacuzzi laser sand filter 250L was manufactured? I am thinking of buying one second hand, and am curious how old it may be. I see Jacuzzi Laser II was made in 2000/2001. Can I assume the Jacuzzi laser 250L was made BEFORE the laser II?

Does anyone have any experience with this filter?

I also noticed the filter and pump do not come on the base. Is the base essential for use? ThAnKS!!
