    Default mybluepool equipment

I have a pool builder recommending mybluepool equipment. The have a auto-chlor salt system, heat pump, filter sysytem, and a robot cleaning sysyten called easy clean. Tried a search on the board and found nothing. Does anyone have experience with or own this equipment. It looks good on paper, I was looking for some real life experience. www.mybluepool.com
    Thanks

I'm not familar with the brand - it may be great. But my gut says stay away from the off-brands. You may not be able to get parts a few years down the road. Either the company goes belly up or they just don't sell enough for the replacement market (vendors) to stock up on the parts. That means you end up buying directly from the manufacture (retail prices) assuming they even sell retail.

My 1st impression is that I would not chose to do business with a company that wants information about me before I can even see their products on their website. But that's just my gut reaction to their site, they may have great products. Personally, I don't want to see their stuff bad enough to fill in their form.

I called the local dealer for mybluepools in my area....they are manufactured by ASTRAL. This particular dealership does not carry their filters anymore because they had a hard time getting replacement parts. I've decided AGAINST purchasing a Mybluepools filter. Good luck with your decision!
