TDS test at pool store? Salty taste in water??

Well, we certainly have not had a lot of rain. Since January, we've only had maybe 10 inches...so I don't think we've had to drain an overfilling pool once yet. We've had to top it off a bunch of times. Hopefully, once we get into july, august, and september we'll get some more rain and perhaps that will take care of it.

My husband wasn't too keen on the idea of draining half the pool water and refilling either...

I guess salty tasting, yet balanced water isn't such a bad thing. It's not really harming anything having a high TDS level...nobody's skin will burn off or anything. Thinking about where our pool was 1 month ago, it could definetly be worse.
