Default Vinyl Coping for overlap IG vinyl pool

I have a old concrete block IG pool that has a vinyl liner that wraps over a 2 x 8 board. I then have a white vinyl "coping" that wraps over the liner and the 2 x 8 that is stapled to the board to secure it. Does anyone know where I can still buy this type of coping? I will be changing over to a bead liner when I replace the liner in a year or two but I would like to replace this coping for now if I can find it and it isn't very expensive. I've seen aluminum coping that is for a similar setup but it is really expensive.

SLS, never seen it. Can you tell me why you want to replace it with an imminent liner change? Maybe I, or someone else here can offer a solution.

It's really starting to fall apart and looking bad. The sun has made it brittle. It may force me to start the remodel after the swim season this year. I was hoping to hold off until I do some remodeling inside the house.
My liner has two bad spots in it where the previous owners let chlorine pucks set on the liner which bleached and wrinkled up the liner. I want to change out the liner before those spots fail. The liner is 8 years old but 3 years I was using Baquacil which probably was a little easier on the liner....just not on me or my pocket book...ha. I am not sure what it will do if the liner fails and I only have a sand bottom and the pool is only 8' from my house. The pool is below my basement level so I should be ok....I think unless it washes out somewhere. Where will 32,000 gallons go...straight on down?? Hopefully I never find out.

For your future reference (when you replace the coping), we have two left-over 12-foot lengths of aluminum coping (bead liner) and lots of coping clips from when we built our pool. They're yours for whatever it would cost to ship them. They may not be worth the cost of shipping, but then again, they may. We couldn't stand the thought of taking perfectly good coping to the dump. Scott, just a suggestion (no idea on feasability ). Could you screw some wood sheathing to the existing coping to cover it? (Painted would probably look better) As for the puck circles - any chance you could patch them before they leak? If they're in the deep end and you don't scuba, this is probably a 'no-go (however, I recall that Poconos had a method of patching without the scuba gear, perhaps he'll see this) Sorry I couldn't be of more help. - Waste

    Waste,
The wood might work...hadn't thought of that. Should be a pretty cheap fix too
One of the puck circles is probably fixable with a patch but the bigger one is 3foot circle so I don't know if that would be fixable. Most of the damage is in the middle but faded to nearly white the rest of the area. Puck must have been a new one on that spot!!! Both are in the deep end.

Thanks for your help. I'll post pictures if I fix it with wood!!
