    gonna do some more research on this but I remember that post! So far I've found that this chemical goes by a few names (or it belongs to a group of closely related chemicals with basically the same action, not sure which) and is used in detergents as a sequestering agent. MSDS don't always list the exact chemical but ingredients on the bottle usually do. Gonna check at work today to see what I can find out! If it is seqstering metal then it might also effect calcium levels (calcium is a metal...we tend to forget that!)
