For the first time, I have pretty strong green algae in my pool after letting it sit all winter. I've vacuumed the heaviest stuff off the bottom and netted out the solids on the surface. I've topped off the pool and the filter/pump is on.

- PH is 7.0
- TA is 150 (I'm working on that).
- Chlorine is zero.
- No other chemicals or additives in the water.

What is an effective PPM I should try to achieve for the initial chlorine hit to kill it all off?

Thanks.
