Had some work done on a chimney near the inground pool where they were grinding mortar joints and scrubbing with steel wool . Today noticed metal stains on the steps . I started treating with ascorbic acid tonight but results only slightly improved . Pump is now off and plan in morning to vacuum and try again with powder in sock on the stains. Any other recommendation before this gets out of control
