    Default Suction leak

I think I've got a suction side leak of my main drain line. is there a way to positively check this?

Suction leaks lead to air bubbles in the water line . . . when the pump is running.

They may, or may not, result in water leaks when the pump is off. They also are notoriously hard to find. Many service guys opt to 'fix' all 'dodgy' connections in hopes that one of them will be "THE" leak. Only when that fails, will they actually search for a specific leak.

    Good luck.

PS: There's little anyone can do to help via the Internet. If you really want online help, you'll need to post complete info about your pool, pump, & piping . . AND pictures. Here's how: http://pool9.net/postpix/
