    Default Plastic Cinderella coping

We recently bought a house with an inground vinyl pool.

The coping is rounded and concrete deck is poured into outside of it. Some of the plastic under the rounded part that accepts the liner has broken away. Maybe 2 feet. The bullnose is intact.

Does anyone know where I could get a small piece to infill it? It looks like the CP-1 from Inyo website. Thanks.

I would call Inyo. They will know what's available that you might be able to use.

The BIG problem is going to be getting a secure bond to SOMETHING behind the replacement liner track. Again, they will know what they have available better than anyone here.

BUT . . . if you want better answers from here, post pix. Here are instructions: http://pool9.net/postpix/

And, actually, if you can get someone knowledgeable on the phone at Inyo, having pix THEY can look at (here, or at Imgur) will likely help.

Everyone who sells pool stuff has learned the hard way to NOT trust verbal consumer descriptions of parts or problems -- and they'll blow you off, rather than take the chances of a small profit versus a large risk of an unhappy customer who wants to return the (WRONG) parts that have NOW been used, and can't be resold.

I got down to the bottom of things. The pool was built in the 1970's with a plastic bullnose coping and integral liner track. Over the years, at some point, some of the plastic liner track broke and so when the liner was last replaced, a metal track was screwed to the wall below the original coping/track. Where the plastic track broke away, there is a 3/4" open space with sand, etc coming out (between the coping and the new metal liner track). The person I spoke with said to fill the area with white silicone caulk. Is there maybe a little more aesthetic solution than just caulking the space? Thanks again
