There are many causes of cloudy water, so if I started giving you answers, I'd just bury you in useless guesses.

I'm assuming you have an Intex-type pool (soft side above-ground)? I'll move your post to that section. Read the FAQ and "Super-simple recipe", and then do whatever you aren't doing now.

But -- I'm feeling irritable this afternoon, so I'm going to be "Frank" instead of PoolDoc!

If you go to a pool store, they will be happy to test your water, tell you something to do, sell you the stuff to do it with . . . and then greet you nicely when you come back a week later.

So, if you want happy smiles, friendly faces, and useless promises, head on over to the closest pool store. Otherwise, the alternative is to hang out here and let a grumpy old fart tell you how to do it right.

And then . . . you have to go do it.
