    Default Back wash

I have an above ground pool with a sand filter, I noticed that when on “filter” setting that there is water coming from the “backwash” valve outlet
    Any suggestions
    Thanks Barry

I don't have your answer, but if you post the valve brand and model number, you have a much better chance of getting a useful answer. Posting detailed might help too.

I'm not familiar with that filter, but here's a link to the manual.

Seems to suggest a bad o-ring. Sorry I can't help more, maybe someone else can.
