    Default Installing a cartridge filter

I'm switching from a sand filter to a cartridge filter. Do I need the pressure hose between the pump and filter or is a regular pool hose sufficient? This is a 16x48 above ground pool

I'm not sure about the terminology you are using, but the piping between the pump and the filter definitely needs to be able to with stand 20 or 30 psi water pressure.
