I recently purchase a home with an in-ground pool. I have never owned or maintained a pool and I am pretty intimidated by the process so far. The pool is currently very green and I am unsure where to start. Is this normal for a pool to be in this condition in the off-season? Also, the pump is currently in the on position 24/7. I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be the case. Should it even be on at all with the condition the water is in? Thanks in advance for your help.
