Hi, I am going crazy..... I have bought a new intex oval pool 12 foot x 20 foot with an inflatable collar. I want to be sure to keep my pool clean and so I need a skimmer, I want to attach a vacuum so that I can clean the pool floor. However, all of the standard skimmers have a screw on hose adaptor that is too small for my pool !? I just cannot find a skimmer with a hose that will screw on to my pool strainer. The inside diameter of the usual screw on hose fitting is 80mm, the fitting for my strainer inlet is 109mm inside diametre. Can anyone tell me where I can find a skimmer with a hose and adaptor that can fit ? Why do they sell pools that you cannot buy skimmers for !?
