Hello, I am new to the site. I moved into a house with a pool and just had it replastered; it was taken care of for one month by a pool company. Now it's up to me and I know little about pools. It's an inground pool with pebble finish, about 20,000 gallons by my measurements.
It has a Hayward Super Star Cleaner with four filters inside. If it helps, the replacement cartridge is CX870XRE.
The pump is new...Sta Rite Intellipro2 VST

I got the Taylor K-2006 test kit and I'm going to go with the BBB method for cleaning and only have one question to start. Do you advise taking the floater with chlorine tabs out? Im assuming so from what I've read but want to be sure. I've done a ton of reading on google about the BBB method.

Thank you.
