On hot summer days, I run mine for about 10 hours, not so much for turnover as for getting all teh solar heat I can handle, I have a 30 foot dia. and a 1hp pump, supposedly it turns over in 4-6 hours.
Sometimes i don't run it at all for a day or 2.
