    Default BBQ Grill

Saw that Academy is having a huge sale on BBQ Grills and since I am looking for one. I was wondering what you guys thought of the Char-Broil one?

I went to look at it and it felt very sturdy and compared to the TURBO and Weber in the 500-800 range. So if I was to get this one... I would save a good bit and get more goodies along with it. Anyone here own one or have any input about this line of grills?

Dang it Mike, why didn't you post this a day earlier. I just bought this unit for just under $300. I would have spent a little more for the stainless unit with all those extra toys

As far as the brnad goes, I think Charbroil has imporved on thier quality quite a bit in the past few years. I looked at them before I bought my previous grill and wasn't impressed with what you got for the money.

I am happy with the grill so far, it cooks great.

I just bought a new grill and got an all stainless Charbroil from Lowes and loving it. It cooks very nice and worth the money. I got it for $299 with no side burner. The side burner was and extra $50 but I never used it on my old grill. I think now they are running a special on free proprane.

    Default Got you all beat!!!

    Got you all beat!

Here's my new grill/cooker which is presently on transit from the west coast...

It's from a new ceramic cooker company komodokamado.

Pork Butt, Brisket, Ribs cooked low and slow overnight on a single load of coals, Steaks seared at 600+ degrees, perfect brick oven pizzas.

Simple and precise temperature control and low airflow through the cooker means the food doesn't dry out...

It may not be convenient as propane/gas.. but cooks much better and a whle lot prettier

I personally like the weber grills - I know they are more expensive - but we have never had a problem with them. The one we have now is 5 years old and it still heats evenly, the burners work, the ignitor still works, the side burner still works, the grates are still in awesome condition, and no rust or flaking of paint. It has been kept outside in FL (hot sun/humid/pouring rains) and has made it through 3 hurricanes and one tropical storm
