sand question...

My husband and I are installing an 18' round. We have been told to use either regular mason's sand or limestone sand to cover the dirt. We have the Happy Bottom pad, and I am just wondering which type of sand to use underneath it. Any help would be appreciated!

Mason's sand is fine for it.
