    Default Clog somewhere in system?

Originally I thought I had air coming into my system (another thread) and now that I've replaced the pump (sigh) I realize there is "just" a clog somewhere that is preventing water flow.

The problem is I can't figure out where that would be -- I've cleaned the filter, replaced the pump (and pre-water filter there) and there still is a vastly reduced flow. I realize that every system is different and you don't know mine but can you folks give me a clue as to where I might look (or what I might try) before I call in the pool professionals? (If this were an indoor plumbing problem I might try running a snake but I'm not sure if that's a good idea, or even where I'd start doing it).

    For other folks: http://www.poolforum.com/pf2/showthr...ht=#post134175

Did you shut off the pump and electricity and check the impeller? I am not an equipment person, but that would be my first check.

Actually put new pump in so not the issue.

However, after running it a bit, I'm now not so sure there is a reduced flow. It's hard to tell (the meter that came with the pool has long since gone to its reward) but the suction works and inlets seem to be running fine. Perhaps I'm just a bit paranoid after the old pump bit the dust. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

    Thanks for responding.
