Hi,

Three weeks ago I purchased an Intex style vinyl above ground pool. My PH is 7.4 and chlorine is 3 but my TA is 280 to 300. The pool looks clear, maybe a tad cloudy but it's almost imperceptible. Should I be concerned about the high TA? I did try adding acid and that did bring the PH down to 7.2 but the TA remained unchanged and it's been three weeks now. I'd appreciate any advise the experts here can give me.
