i just had a new vinyl liner put in my pool. After it was all done we noticed our coping was moving toward the pool. I called the guy and he said he could replace the coping and that will solve the problem. When he started he told me my concrete was not straight and he would have to cut it to fit the new coping. The right side he cut an inch and the left side he cut 2 inches. I don't know why. He filled in the gaps with some white thin set which was sloppy. Then I noticed the left side of the pool the coping was higher and the liner bulged out into the pool. The guy came back and screwed it in, there is still a 1/2 inch gap from coping to top of liner. Now one week later all the thin set is cracking. I spent good money to do this work and now I don't know what to do. The coping is higher on one side of pool then the other. When I called again the guy said this happened because the wood was warped and the owner didn't want to replace it. So now I'm left with almost 7000 down the rain.
