I set my spa up exactly as recommended by the spa company using the products he recommended
including a leisure time spa minerals stick.

I seem to do well in balancing the spa in all but alkalinity. It is low despite adding Alkalinity increaser.

Here are my questions. 1. Should I be using the Leisure Time Spa Mineral stick that fits into
the filter as the pool store recommended along with the bromine etc.

2. I was looking online and saw that you can use sodium bicarbonate for raising alkalinity but
one post I read said do not use sodium bicarbonate if using a silver system and the active
ingredient in the spa minerals stick is 0.5% silver chloride. So does this mean do not use
it with Spa minerals

3.The side of the box also says lower your bromine or chlorine levels to as low as 1.0 ppm. but I'm
not sure if that is telling me to lower my bromine to that level or thats all I need my level of bromine
to be. Does anyone else use that that can tell me?

Thank you
