Hi everyone
I am just getting started with a new vinyl liner inground pool that is 37X17 with 8 foot deep end. I have the advanced test kit from wal-mart and ran some numbers over the past few days. My water is cloudy hence why I am posting here to get started. My pool installer provided chlorine tabs in my auto-chlorinatier and I used them since my water was delivered and had no CYA. I also added stabilizer to get to where I am now.
So trying to figure out why it is cloudy. Ordering the real test kit but here is what my wal-mart kid showed me:

Chlorine ( I assume TC with ORO drops): bright yellow matching the highest reading perfectly
PH; Perfect at 7.6 ish
TA: about 80
CYA: 65 ish

I have now stopped using chlorine tabs since CYA is good (turned auto-chlorinator off) and will get some bleach. Any ideas why it is cloudy?? We have had it for 2 weeks and just started using the pool yesterday since inspection was completed. It got cloudy mid day after 2 kids swam for 20 minutes (did not cause it I think) . A few hours prior was clear. There was some dirt since I have to get going on landscaping now but vacuumed well.
