So I am a first time pool owner. My husband and I purchased a 16'x48" Intex pool this summer. We finally made time to get the ground level (or so we thought) and started to get water in it. We turned off the water when I noticed that it was filling to one side more than the other. It filled about 3 inches to the low side before it completely covered the high side. Will this mean that the pool will be about 3 inches off? There is only 1 inch of sand underneath with a protective tarp and we dug out the high side vs building to the low side. When using the level at the top bars it all seems level. So confused. Is it normal to see the water fill like this and start to even out or is this a no brainer that it will be off level? If so what is the concern with having it out of level? If its 3 inches now will it get worse with time? Or will the weight start to distribute and even out?
