Default Recommendation on a sump pump?

Looking for recommendations on a reliable sump pump to drain green algae pools. Preferably one that is electric , will drain the water all the way down to the bottom, and won't clog too easily with debris. I've done some quick internet searches and have come up with a couple possibilites but I really don't know what is good or not or what I'm looking for exactly.

I don't know why you would need to drain a pool just because of algae. If you hit it with chlorine (and keep at it) you should be able to clean it up.

Second, if you drain all the way to the bottom you run the risk of the liner shrinking then ripping when you refill.

You might want to re-think your strategy.

I'm talking cruddy, can't see the bottom pools, with the possibity of alligators. Actually it will be used for acid washes and chlorine baths on in ground plaster pools.

Look into a sewage pump. They can better handle the crud that will clog most regular sump pumps.
