We covered the pool with the solar blanket for the week we were gone. Removed to the blanket upon returning home and found the water very cloudy, but no green. Chemicals were a bit screwed up but that was somewhat expected due to the excessive heat. We've never experienced the cloudy water (almost opaque) before during the season. (2nd pool to own.)
Initially tried to get the cloudy water straightened out with no luck, since I've been working on the chemistry. It's over a week now and not getting anywhere.
Wife starting to panic with guests expected for the weekend.

10,000 gal fiberglass pool.
Last night's chemistry: FCL: 1.96, TCL: 4.21, Ph: 7.2, ALY: 182, CH: 217, CYA: 19 LaMotte test kit
Added 50oz of 6% bleach after readings. dip stick showed improved TCL. Will use test kit tonight.
