I currently have a footprint from a 15' round and would like to increase to an 18' round. I used a rottotiller on the perimeter and removed the soil, and now wondering about the sand from the original install. Am I ok to rake, level and tamp the sand even with the new (slightly) higher perimeter, or to I have to remove the sand and level the entire area flat again?
