I am wondering if the cost of installation for a gas heater is a fair price. The heater will be 80 feet away from my above ground pool, because of the location of the gas lines of my house. They have to drill thru the foundation of my house twice, put the gas lines in, hook up my heater and filter and pump, and run PVC water pipes 80 feet to my pool. They are charging 1500.00 for labor and materials.
